Founded in 1966, the Calorie Control Council (CCC) is an international association representing manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators of low- and reduced-calorie foods, beverages, and ingredients. CCC members are dedicated to advancing sugar reduction through the development and use of low- and no-calorie sweeteners, dietary fiber, and other reduced-calorie ingredients that support health and wellness without compromising taste or enjoyment.
The Council fosters open, science-based dialogue among industry, scientific and regulatory bodies, government agencies, health professionals, and consumer organizations on topics related to the safety, benefits, and responsible use of low- and reduced-calorie ingredients and products. Through advocacy, education, and stakeholder engagement, CCC works to advance informed decision-making and support innovation across the food and beverage industry.
